Last night's episode of Vuzu's Rich Kids was not the most interesting. That is, until after it aired.
It featured a "rich kid" named Aleks, who said he was from Angola and had a wealthy mom. From the beginning something was a bit off because unlike previous episodes of Rich Kids, we didn't get a tour of Aleks' mansion or see his cars. All we got was an exterior shot and him saying he lives in a house of people who love each other (or something like that).
As for the car situation, Aleks said he only uses Uber. Let him explain why:
Alrighty then. In the episode we saw Aleks go for a massage at the super-swanky Radisson Blu hotel in Sandton, go shopping (twice - he allegedly spent R300k in 15 minutes), get a tattoo and, of course, pop bottles at a trendy club.
But soon after the episode aired, some people started calling bullshit on the show. But things only really popped off on Twitter today when one Andy Dlamini shared the following series of tweets: To understand the tweets, please read from down-up.
DROPS MIC!! #VuzuRichKids- 15. We find out that vuzu ended up airing the episode because Alekss FORGED our release forms. So they think we cool to be on tv.
- 14. Alekss tells us that vuzu agreed to reshoot his thing and take us off completely and Andres house. Everything! We happy now
- 13. So we all agree, Lesang, Andre and Me that we will tell Alekss that we can't be associated with such fake living on TV! Take us off!
- 12. Fast foward to weeks later and I see an ad on tv about #VuzuRichKids
and Alekss is chilling at Dres like it's his house 
- SIDE BAR: we didn't even get the free massage imagine.
- 11. We then sit and we are given fake champagne to cheers for the camera.. I tell lesang, this is getting dodge. But he's like nahhh, chiill
- 10. So we get to the spa at the hotel.. And only then we are told (me and lesang) that they need to shoot us walking in.. okay
- 9. So he begs me and Lesang to come with and shoot at the spa and just be "cool" .. A free massage is mentioned so we like ..
no prob - SIDE BAR... The whole time we don't know what that this is for .. #VuzuRichKids
- 8. So Alekks immediately pulls me and Lesang aside and explains how he's so nervous because he doesn't have much to show #VuzuRichKids
- 7. They start shooting around the house and then Alekss arrives. #VuzuRichKids
- Ok that was supposed to 5 but let's continue...
- 6. So I've notified the owner of the house, I'm thinking ok cool, he knew about this... We wait for the camera crew to set up and Alekss too
- 4. So Andre is hella passed out, I persisted till I got a faint yes ... For them to start shooting #VuzuRichKids
Hip-Hippie✌️ - 3. Alekss isn't even at Andres at this time but we let them in, I go and try wake up Andre to tell him that they are shooting here.
- 2. Then vans appear at Andres gate, cool.. We open and the camera crew comes in and says they here to shoot a show on a guy called Alekss.
- 1. We were at Andres house (our friend) just chilling, drinking... Andre was passed out cos we had been out the night before..
