Bonang, Jeannie D & Bonnie Mbuli Set To Co-Host A TV Show On SABC3 From May 4

From 4 May, a new lifestyle show will hit TV screens with three local media personalities at the helm.
The talk show which takes over from Noeleen Maholwana Nomasanqu's 3 Talk is expected to be current and appeal to a younger audience.

With Bonang Matheba, Jeannie D of Top Billing and actress Bonnie Mbuli as presenters, the show titled The Afternoon Express makes its debut on 4 May.


“Afternoon Express is a first for South Africa and for SABC3. To combine fun interaction, practical advice as well as engaging conversation into one show is definitely taking the quality of programming to the next level and we are proud to have this kind of uplifting and empowering content for women as part of our offering,” said Aisha Mohammed SABC 3 head in a statement.

Patience Stevens, MD of Twelopele Production said: “We hope that making a date with Afternoon Express will be making an appointment to have fun. We have three of the country’s most talented presenters, we are very excited to have this opportunity and we are looking forward to this challenge.”
