According to Zinhle's angry uncle, neither Zinhle nor AKA (Kiernan Forbes) have honoured the Zulu tradition which requires the rapper to pay damages to Zinhle's family for getting her pregnant before marrying her.
Speaking to the press, Zinhlesuncle, Mbonbeni Jiyane, voiced his anger over the fact that AKA's chosen not to honour his culture.
"That boy has never set his foot here since he got Zinhle pregnant. He never paid damages and we don't know what his intensions are," Jiyane is quoted as saying.
"In our culture, once you impregnate a girl, her family would go to the guy's family to report the pregnancy. In this case, we tried to meet with AKA's relatives but failed as he was not co-operative.
"He actually didn't want us to meet her family. That boy is crazy. He must pay damages - finish and klaar."
