Guests included businessman Theunis Crous and his wife, Primrose; President Jacob Zuma's lawyer Michael Hulley; and former cabinet minister Tokyo Sexwale.
They got to lounge around on custom-designed furniture that was specially made to complement the theme of the wedding.
Special touchesat Boschendal Wine Estate in Franschhoek included bespoke couches, coffee tables, ottomans, lounge cabanas, lampshades and bases "to match the style and sophistication" of the event.
The couple spared no expense for their afternoon-to-night nuptials, and guests were treated to an open-air lounge, a cigar and whisky bar, a three-course dinner and top-notch entertainment from tenor Sandile Kamle, comedian Chris Forrest, Afro-pop duo Mafikizolo and rapper Hip Hop Pantsula.
The entertainment area featured an ambitious revolving stage that transformed from a daytime theme into an evening backdrop.
Wedding planner Christina Holt of Wedding Concepts, a company that also worked on the weddings of Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa and Ndalo Media's Khanyi Dhlomo, said it took two months to put the event together.
The couple had wanted a wedding "reflective of elegance and glamorous sophistication".
She said: "Rosette's love of pastel shades, soft tones and hues of gold needed to reflect in all elements.
"Most of the details were hand-crafted, including the exclusive gifts, unique luxurious stationery and personalised napkins, while the custom-made lounge furniture and unique lighting features were also designed especially for the day."
Other guests included Deputy Police Minister Maggie Sotyu; Social Development Minister Bathabile Dlamini; Deputy Higher Education Minister Mdu Manana; ANC MP Tony Yengeni; model Lee-Ann Liebenberg and her hubby, Nicky van der Walt; and businessmen Andile Nkuhlu and Mikki Xayiya.
The bride walked down the aisle in a full-length sequinned gown embellished with white lace, supported by her matron of honour, Nobuntu Dlamini-Dubazana, and bridesmaids Lusanda Toba, Nthabiseng Mokoena and Dorah Mtetwa.
The lovebirds first met briefly through mutual friends at a restaurant in Cape Town, before being set up on a date.
After three years of dating, Mogomotsi said that twice she had been sure Ncwana would propose - once during a holiday in the Seychelles and another holiday in London.
"When he didn't, I remember being so disappointed.
"It was only when we were back in our Joburg home on May 4 last year, me in my sloppy pyjamas, that he casually said, 'Baby you can wear your ring now', and he had that cute smile on his face. I was genuinely surprised." More photos as you continue...
