If you ever needed any motivation to not give up on your goals and dreams, especially when it feels like you can’t keep going…this is it!
Over the weekend 29 year old Kenyan marathoner proved that you can do anything you put your mind to. Hyvon Ngetich was leading at the 2015 Austin Marathon in Texas, when her body shut down and she couldn’t move any more. She had been running for 2.5 hours and was close to finishing the 26 mile race when this happened.
But even though her body had failed on her she did not give up.
She finished the rest of the race by crawling…on her knees to the finish line. Medical personnel tried to help her but she turned down the wheelchair they brought to her and crawled to the end.
She eventually came third place over all! Watch the moment here as the audience and commentators cheered her on to the end!
