Tiki Nxumalo Of The Famous "Generations Show" Dies At 65

With no wife or children, the actor who lives alone and popularly known as Sompisi in the Generations, died in the early hours of  today, Monday morning.

According to a family member Tiki was found lying on the floor just outside his house in Lamont south of Durban.

Nelisiwe Nxumalo, who is a relative of 'the famous mkhulu', said they received a call in the morning informing them of his death.

"When we got to his house we saw his asthma medication on his bed. We suspect he might have collapsed trying to find help because he was alone in the house," she said.

The family is still in shock and have yet to meet about the arrangements of the funeral, but chances are he will be buried on Saturday.

The 65 year old was not married and had no children. He leaves behind his siblings.

He became a household name after appearing in a KFC advert and thereafter got a role in Generations where he played the delusional character Sompisi.
May his soul rest in peace.
