We have noticed as usual that most popular internet forums are already filled with JAMB 2015 Result Upgrade invitations from restless cheats who prowl various websites looking for candidates to rip-off their money. What is JAMB Result Upgrading in the first place? By definition, one could refer to this an an (illegal) act of boosting a candidate’s actual result to a better score that could possibly allow the candidate participate in Post UTME screening (unmerited) and maybe eventually gain admission into his/her school of choice. Whether this worked in the past or not is not what we are after, but whoever tells you that it is (still) possible to upgrade your Computer Based Test (CBT) score/marks in 2015 is the real liar!

In our attempt to know whether the issue of UTME result upgrading is possible, we have contacted Enugu JAMB Zonal coordinator, Dr. Mrs Okorie, who frankly told us that there is nothing like that. She maintained that going by the processes involved in the marking of scripts and the very short time frame of release of results, upgrading JAMB UTME scores is indeed NOT POSSIBLE. She further explained that immediately after the the candidate submit their work, the blueprint of the results is processed, recorded, set to the candidate’s phone number and forwarded to the office of the JAMB registrar in Abuja. Copies of this blueprint are sent to the various tertiary institutions for necessary confirmations as and when required. So there is no way this can be manipulated along the way in all those places.
