I have battled within myself for so long about whether to blog about this experience or to just let you people be, but 2 things kept me restless, what my doctor told me and the fact that it might be the best way to appreciate God for his healing.
My doctor after listening to my long story said, Nne you must let people know about this. I agreed because of the second reason above. I will spare you the long story about how my stomach ulcer experience almost killed me or nearly stopped my traditional wedding in May 2013, so I will go straight to the point. If you have stomach ulcer or know someone who does, you probably know how painful it can be and how tensed you get while eating, in anticipation of the pain that will follow an hour later. Mine was beyond that, as I had a gastrointestinal bleeding, vomited blood for 2 days and pooped black (pitch black!) poo for a week!
After spending 1 week on admission in a hospital in Lagos, frustrated by the little effect the antibiotics had on me while I was anemic (low blood count), I went home and solely relied on my schoolmate/doctor friend whom I trust so much but she has no clinic at the time which is why I went elsewhere. She treated me at home and blood level came up and I was able to attend my traditional wedding.
I returned to South Africa immediately after the wedding and frustration hit me again as I saw myself depending on antibiotics which I knew couldn't be good for my overall health, so I embarked on a research to find a natural cure for ulcer which I've been told severally by even doctors that it has no cure but control. Good news at last! I found my cure! (I'm cutting off a lot from this story so I don't bore you).
Cabbage, unknown to most people, contains probiotics, this increases the amount of good bacteria in your stomach which you need to fight off the bad bacteria including the ulcer inducing bacteria known as 'helicobacter pylori, and balances up the acidity level (what you suffer from is low acidity and not a reflux, contrary to popular opinion). So the antibiotics that doctors give you actually make matters worse, in the bid to kill the bad bacteria, antibiotics do not separate the good bacteria, so it just wipes off all the bacteria in your system. When you have no good bacteria left to protect your body, you are exposed to all sorts of infections, candida attacks you first if you are a woman. This is why antibiotics are prescribed sparingly by very good doctors.
Your stomach by nature has to be acidic in order to digest food (there is no grinding machine in your stomach, its acid that breaks food down), so the bad bacteria reduces the acidity level, and forces your body to increase acid production and this ultimately leads in the surge of acid which enters your blood stream and causes heartburn and all the burning sensations that come with ulcer. Cabbage re-introduces good bacteria to fight the bad ones, increases natural acidity level and the equation balances up and your body stops the excess acid production! This takes place withing 11 days, yes, I got cured of ulcer within 11 days!
How to consume the cabbage:
Blend a leaf of cabbage, add a little water to make it juicy
Take 2 ounces (about 8 table spoons) 4x a day before each meal
On the 8th day you might notice some stomach ache that will last for 3 days and that's the healing process, keep the routine and once that pain is over, you are healed! I had to take it for longer because I had nothing to lose and just wanted to be sure the healing was permanent, and it had a welcome side effect, I lost some excess fat too!
I'm posting this with the hope that it will touch lives positively, if it does, please come back and let others know in the comment section, its the least you can do. I did mine, please do yours too.
If you have any questions relating to this post, please ask in the comment section and I will respond. Check back soon for my next post on my findings on natural cure for high blood pressure, you can subscribe to get the post as it drops.
Good luck and God bless you.
Lina.
