The communiqué which was signed by security chiefs in the state and read by Ajanaku stated that security operatives will not be manipulated by any political party or aspirant during the general elections “or be seen to favour one aspirant or political party against the others.” In addition, they called on religious and community leaders, women and youths to assist security agencies by providing timely information.
