Arsenal Hold Transfer Talks To Sign £6m Swansea Striker Bafetimbi Gomis

Arsenal have held talks with Bafetimbi Gomis’ agent over a £6million move for the Swansea City striker, UK’s Metro reports. Gomis is one of the most sought after players in the Premier League this month, with Swansea considering letting him go for the right price. Newcastle and Crystal Palace are keen, along with Borussia Dortmund, but Gomis’ agent has confirmed Arsenal have now approached him to discuss a deal. ‘Schalke and Borussia Dortmund have asked about signing Bafe,’ said Francesco Di Frisco. ‘So have Crystal Palace and Newcastle and now Arsenal.’ The comments come amid talk that the Gunners are set to make a £6million bid for the powerful attacker, with Arsene Wenger keen to bag the 29-year-old. Gomis has scored four goals in 20 matches for the Swans this season.
